Ok so day 2 using chrome. Loving the speed and now for the big BUT…
Well if you’ve not heard Google has their OWN browser. Release yesterday and I installed today (work gets in the way doesn’t it) I’ve had a few minutes time to play with it.
Most of us when faced with a question about anything… movies, lyrics, formula just pretty much life the universe and everything…. we go to Google and google it… we usually get back a few thousand if not millions of hits. And it’s become a way of life for most of us. But is there more from this search engine giant?
I found this over at Life Hacker and was immediately interested as I have 2 computer addicted kids. It lets you create protected accounts that have minimal effect on the computer system. In other words the kids can’t delete your documents in your work folder, change the background to something hideous and in general make it impossible to use your computer after they have used it.
I’ve been a little busy over the past few weeks. My workload has changed not more just shifted so I’m adjusting.
After my switch back to Firefox from Safari I was looking for a search add-on for videos and images for Firefox. I ran across a pretty neat add-on that reminded me of the fun of browsing YouTube with the Interface of the FUTURE. Oh wait that’s EXACTLY what it was like.
Right after I saw how to run Ping.fm from Launchy I realized that I could do the SAME thing from AutoHotKey. This would give me the ease of posting via a hotkey in windows to most of my social networks/micro blogs. Continue Reading Run Ping.fm from AutoHotKey
