I’ve been using Google Chrome for awhile now and while FASTER and LEANER than other browsers, was much like the celery of the browser world.  You had to put a bit of peanut butter on it to make things really yummy.   Well Google officially added extensions to their browser beta.  I think I’m in love. Is it too soon to say that?  Will I scare Chrome off? I hope not. Read More Below...

That’s not to say there are not problems with the relationship.

Chrome Extensions

As you can see I did go a bit crazy.  I’ve got Del.icio.us, Remember the Milk, LastPass, IE Tab, Google Mail Checker, EverNote, Feedly, Shareaholic, Facebook, Chromed Bird, and AniWeather.  While it is a bit excessive, I know I got a little excited and will probably remove a bunch after a bit.

It does a bit of interference with the ability to GTD as I can see I have 3 emails and 8 tweets I’ve not seen yet (and now 7 more tweets since the screenshot).  But overall it’s nice to have the various little extensions that Firefox and Internet Explorer users have grown accustomed to.

While still a trailing at at a little less than 4% of the browser market, Chrome is beating out Opera and catching up to Safari.  The lead that Safaris has may also be reduced as with the addition of extensions to the beta, an OSX version of the Chrome beta was released.

So download Chrome and get a few cool extensions.
