Microsoft recently released a public beta of their web editing software Expression Web. It’s got a bunch of new features that are for some advanced editing.Read More Below...
A few of the notable updates are
- PHP – Intellesense support of PHP and Preview
- Byte order mark options – Fix the BOM problem.
- Silverlight 1.0 – Enhanced support for Silverlight Files.
- Flash and Windows Media – Enhanced support and preview
- Photoshop Import – Include .psd files directly EW will convert to png, jpg or gif.
- ASP.NET AJAX -Use AJAX controls on web pages.
- Custom ASP.NET control – Use custom ASP.NET controls on your website.
- ASP.NET data controls – Datapager and List view controls are available.
- FTP publishing – More control over FTP settings such as passive/active and user name and password.
- CSS – Some rendering problems have been fixed in addition to better compatibility reports.
- HTML file extension – Set the default extension for files. (e.g. htm or html)
- Alphabetized HTML attributes – Option when inserting or Reformating html to sort html attributes.
