Submitting your site to Search Engines Part 2 Sitemap Submission Revisited

A few weeks ago Live from Microsoft released it’s webmaster tools.  They provide similar tools to Google Webmaster tools and  Site Explorer from Yahoo. You’ll need a Live Account (I still have mine from my hotmail days) and it’s free to use.Read More Below...

Once registered you need to verify your site either by a meta tag or a small xml file and then you can get a bit more info on how live search views your site.   It shows inbound and outbound links and a tool that ranks pages in relationship to keywords.  It’s as simple as the offerings from Google and Yahoo.   It’s nice to see Live playing catchup.

So now my list of webmaster submission websites has grown by one and I can now proactively submit my site to several engines without waiting for  a crawler to find an inbound link to my site.
