As a follow up to my post on Magnetix Dangers, X-Rays yesterday confirmed the Magnetix piece she had swallowed (the ball) was gone. My daughter was VERY HAPPY to hear this as today is her birthday! She’s 7 now and you know Seven is a hard age.
Yesterday we had spoken with the school nurse who said also said that swallowing magnets is VERY VERY dangerous and that we had done the right thing.
All is well that ends well and a lesson well learned!
