Many times I have to re-download stuff to install. You have to Google the website, find the download page and then get the file. WordPress is NO exception.
But they were smart and do things in a way that enables you to quickly find the latest version.
A few months ago I tried Jolicloud on my HP Mini Netbook granted its on of the first Netbooks and has only a 16GB SSD drive it works GREAT for posting reading and even watching Netflix. However, Windows XP seems a bit slow and unresponsive at times. So I really want an OS that is light but I can still do all I need to without a lot of effort.
Recently I had a problem where I wanted a quick listing of folders and placing them into Excel. There were numerous solutions using Macros, however this seemed a bit complicated. I’ve been using Google Chrome for awhile now and while FASTER and LEANER than other browsers, was much like the celery of the browser world. I’ve got dozens of passwords and sites that require them and the built in password reminders are a bit clunky. They don’t transfer well and they have limited security. I was using RoboForm for years, it worked well and kept things in line but you did have a limit to how many computers you could install on, the supported browses and syncing between computers was a bit hairy.
